Jenny Fajutag has been appointed as Marketing & Communications Manager at the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai, joining the hotel from the Jumeirah Group where she was Marketing & PR Communication Executive.
A Filipino national, Jenny gained a BS in International Travel & Tourism Management from Philippines before moving to the UAE in 2006 to join Jumeirah.
After an initial period as a restaurant hostess, she moved in to guest relations and customer sales before becoming focused on marketing and PR for both rooms and restaurants, in particular developing digital marketing skills.
A certified Japanese speaker, Jenny is a keen supporter of community charity groups and school events, and is looking forward to utilising all her skills to promote the Taj Palace Hotel as an active supporter of local events as well as a business and leisure hotel of choice for regional and international visitors.
Welcoming her to the hotel, Acting General Manager, Mr Ahmed Badawy said Jenny’s grounding in all aspects of communications and public relations would be a key asset to foster good relations, both with the media and key travel partners.
